Dominion Raceway Disappointment for Hall and Fryar in CARS Tour Mini's Mission 125

Bassett, VA - June 15th, 2026

A home-state night at Dominion Raceway had the right ingredients for a solid run, but the June 13th CARS Tour Mini's Mission 125 did not give Connor Hall or Jared Fryar the finish they were working toward.

Hall, driving the PPG and Towne Bank sponsored No. 12, was in position for a strong result deep into the race before a flat right front tire ended his night on lap 89. He had started 10th and was running seventh when the issue hit, leaving him with a DNF and a 25th-place finish.

Fryar, behind the wheel of the Toyota Racing No. 22, worked forward from 17th and was running 12th in the closing laps. With six laps to go, he got caught up in a wreck that cut short his push to the finish. The results listed him 19th.

For both drivers, the pace and effort were better than the box score. The final results just did not reflect it.

The Night Started with Room to Work

Dominion Raceway is not a place where patience is optional. Track position matters, but so does keeping the tires underneath the car and surviving the late-race pressure that often builds in a 125-lap event.

Hall rolled off 10th, already inside the top half of the field and close enough to make progress without needing to force the issue early. Fryar’s assignment was tougher from 17th, but the No. 22 had a full race distance to chip away and climb into the mix.

Connor Hall was Seventh Before the Tire Problem

Hall’s night changed on lap 89.

At the time, the No. 12 was running seventh, a position that gave the team a real shot at a solid finish as long runs progressed. After starting 10th, Hall had done the work needed to stay in the fight. He had track position, moved forward, and he was still in range of a top 5 with how the race played out just after he fell out.

Then, the right front went flat. For Hall, it brought the No. 12’s night to an early stop.

The finish was harsh compared with the run. That is what made this DNF sting a litte bit more. The speed and track position were there, but the result landed at 25th.

Jared Fryar’s progress ended in late-race trouble

Fryar’s race had a different shape, but the result carried the same frustration.

Starting 17th, the No. 22 Toyota Racing entry had more traffic to deal with from the drop of the green flag. Moving forward from that part of the field takes discipline. It means picking the right lanes on restarts, staying out of trouble, and not using up the car too soon.

By the closing laps, Fryar had climbed to 12th. That put him in position to leave Dominion with a respectable finish after starting deeper in the field, and with this being his first race for Nelson Motorsports.

With six laps to go, that chance disappeared.

Fryar got caught up in a wreck while running 12th, ending the night just short of the finish. The final results showed him in 19th, which again did not tell the full story of the effort that came before it. The No. 22 had gained five spots from the start and was still moving toward a better result when the wreck at the front of the field collected him.
