Nelson Motorsports Scores Langley Victory with Connor Hall and Solid Finish for Carson Loftin

Nelson Motorsports left Langley Speedway with exactly the kind of night every race team works for: a trophy, a strong rebound, and momentum heading into the next CARS Tour stop.

On May 30th, Connor Hall drove his personal Towne Bank #12 to victory with support from Nelson Motorsports, taking command early and holding firm through a tense run to the finish. Teammate Carson Loftin also delivered one of his best results of the season, bringing the Henry County Community College #22 Toyota Camry home in sixth after starting 10th.

For Hall, it was a statement win. For Loftin, it was a much-needed step forward after a difficult stretch.

Hall Turns Strong Qualifying Run into a Win

Hall opened the night by qualifying third, giving the Towne Bank #12 a strong starting spot and a clear path to race for the lead. Once the green flag dropped, he wasted little time moving into control.

Langley Speedway is not a place where drivers can relax with the lead. The tight, demanding short track rewards rhythm, patience, and clean restarts. Hall needed all three. Fortunately, Langley is his home track that he knows better than most.

After taking command early, he managed the race from the front and kept the car in position when the pressure built late. Multiple late-race restarts gave the field chances to challenge, but Hall answered each one.

Every restart raised the stakes. Each time, he launched well, protected the lead, and kept the #12 out front when it mattered most.

The result was a hard-earned victory for Hall and a proud night for the Nelson Motorsports effort supporting his personal car.

Loftin Earns a Momentum-Building Sixth Place Finish

Carson Loftin entered Langley looking for a clean, competitive night. After a rough season, the team needed a result that showed progress and gave the #22 group something to build on. They found it.

Loftin qualified 10th in the Henry County Community College #22 Toyota Camry, then raced forward and finished P6. On paper, sixth place is a respectable finish. In context, it means more than that.

This was the kind of run that can reset the tone around a season. Loftin stayed in the fight, gained spots, and brought home a strong finish in a race where late restarts and pressure could have gone wrong quickly.

For the driver and team, a solid top six effort gives the group validation that the pace is there. It also gives them a cleaner week of preparation, better energy in the shop, and something positive to carry into the next event.

A Strong Team Night at a Tough Track

Langley rewarded execution. Nelson Motorsports got that from both sides of the program.

Hall delivered at the front of the field, turning a third-place qualifying run into a victory. Loftin delivered the type of steady, forward-moving performance that teams value during a long season.

Together, the results made May 30th a strong night for the organization.

The win will draw the headline, and deservedly so. But the P6 for Loftin matters too. Strong teams need wins, and they also need progress across the board. At Langley, Nelson Motorsports got both.
